The Certificate in New Testament Studies at King James Bible College is designed to provide students with a broad and structured study of the New Testament Scriptures. Through individual courses, students will explore the books, people, events, doctrines, teachings, and practical truths found throughout the New Testament while developing a deeper understanding of God’s Word.

From Matthew through Revelation, students will study the earthly ministry, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; the beginning and growth of the early church; the ministry of the apostles; the New Testament epistles; Christian doctrine and living; and the prophetic truths revealed in the book of Revelation.

Part of the Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies Program

The Certificate in New Testament Studies is earned as students complete the required New Testament courses that are part of our Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies program.

This means students are not completing a separate group of courses that will later need to be repeated. The courses completed toward the New Testament Studies Certificate also count toward the requirements of the Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies degree.

Upon successfully completing all of the required New Testament courses, students will be eligible to receive their Certificate in New Testament Studies and may continue working toward completion of their Bachelor’s degree.

Course Availability

We are continuing to develop and release the remaining courses within our Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies program. Because of this, some of the courses required for the Certificate in New Testament Studies may not yet be available in the regular online interactive format.

As additional courses are completed, they will be added to the program. Students may also use our Assessment-Only Program for qualifying courses that are available there, allowing them to continue progressing toward their certificate and degree requirements.

All biblical instruction and Scripture quotations are based exclusively upon the King James Version (KJV).

Our desire is that this program will help students develop a greater knowledge and appreciation of the New Testament Scriptures, grow in their understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, and build a strong biblical foundation for continued study and Christian service.
