MASTER’S IN BIBLICAL STUDIES PROGRAM
Requirements for Admission to the Master’s in Biblical Studies Program at King James Bible College
To enroll in the Master’s in Biblical Studies program, the following requirements must be met:

Completion of the Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies program at King James Bible College is mandatory, with an awarded degree. (Degrees from other colleges will not be accepted.)
This master’s program is an advanced course of study that involves reading the King James Bible along with two additional approved books, focusing on one doctrinal topic selected by the student from the list provided below.
Once you complete the masters program, you will receive your printed physical degree in a nice diploma cover, a tangible testament to your dedication and accomplishment.

Steps to Enroll:

If you have not already registered, please complete the online registration and purchase the course for $100.

Topic of student’s choice with approval from the president or administrator.

Read the King James Bible and two approved books on your selected doctrinal topic.

Complete an outline and thesis on your chosen topic. This will be graded by one of the college instructors.
All necessary materials and instructions for completing the program will be available immediately after the course is purchased. Students can complete the entire program from the course portal, following the provided guidelines.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn 45 credit hours and be awarded an official Master’s in Biblical Studies degree, accredited by the King James Bible College Board of Directors.
Criteria for Outline and Thesis Writing
Pagination and Formatting:

Include pagination after the title, enclosed in parentheses, and followed by a period.

Pagination follows edition and/or volume statements, using “p.” for a single page and “pp.” for multiple pages.

You may use as many approved sources as needed for study and reference.
Thesis Length and Formatting Requirements:

A master’s thesis is typically between 20,000 – 40,000 words, with an upper limit of 60,000 words.

The thesis must be no less than 20,000 words, written in 12pt font, and typed (not handwritten).

Include a title page, an introduction chapter, the main body, and a bibliography.

All pages must have page numbers at the bottom (center or side placement is acceptable). Pages should be formatted on 8.5 x 11-inch portrait layout.
Discussion Section:
The discussion section is critical and must align with the King James Bible as the final and primary authority. Write it like a detailed book report, backed by sound biblical research. Include a bibliography at the end.
Referencing Format:

When citing sources, ensure all references from the same source are consistently styled (e.g., bold, italicized, or underlined).

Example: If a Bible verse is bold, all Bible references must also be bold.
Self-Citation:
You may reference your own previously published work if applicable. This conveys originality and demonstrates the development of ideas over time.
Tools for Writing:

Microsoft Word is recommended, but its features (e.g., automatic formatting, spell check) must be used carefully. Spelling and grammar will affect scoring. Seek help through tutorials or experienced users if needed.
Research Guidance:

Start with prayer and submit two books for approval, ensuring they are by sound, King James Bible-believing authors.

Use a Bible app to explore all related scriptures and gain a complete understanding before reading your selected books.

Consult biblically sound individuals (e.g., pastor, college administrator, or board members) for clarity or insights.
Steps for Research and Writing:

Take notes and highlight significant points in your approved books.

Create an outline of discussion points for your thesis and submit it for approval.

Write the thesis based on the approved outline, ensuring it reflects your understanding and analysis of the topic.
Thesis Grading:

The thesis will be evaluated based on your understanding of the chosen topic in light of the King James Bible.

Instructors will provide grades, feedback, and comments, ensuring you meet the program’s standards. Upon approval, your grade will be recorded, and the degree will be awarded.

A thesis is an extensive, scholarly paper that demonstrates advanced research and analysis on a specific topic. It is typically required as a capstone project for a degree and allows students to contribute meaningful research to their field of study.
