This object lesson starts out as a paper fold looking like a house or the Tower of Babel. Then you continue to fold it to look like a plane. As you describe to the kids that man cannot build something that can reach to heaven. Then you can tear it to form the rocket, continuing the thought but then there is a pop when it turns into a cross. To the kids amazement they will want to know how you did it. I have used this in junior church and Sunday school as well as out on the street and in the park.

This object lesson is great for Sunday School and Jr church. John 10:9 "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." This illustrates with paper the door and then YOU being able to fit through the paper door. I like to use this object lesson to teach the kids faith in God and believing the impossible can be made possible.

How to make a simple and cheap puppet for your class. Jonah and the whale is a well known story from the Bible. In this video we give a visual idea that you can easily use in you Jr church or Sunday school.

This object lesson on the Flesh vs the Spirit is very effective and immediately grabs the kids attention. It is almost like a trick or illusion because the Styrofoam disappears and the packing peanut do not. Other subjects this could easily apply to is; selfishness, materialism, fulfillment, and time management. (stewardship)
Items needed: Acetone, Styrofoam (Flesh), Biodegradable (spirit), A Glass cup. This is a great object lesson for Sunday school or even a sermon illustration.
