🎓 Accreditation & Educational Integrity

At King James Bible College, we believe that the Word of God is the final authority in all matters of faith, practice, and education. As Scripture declares in 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV), “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

Our curriculum is built entirely upon biblical principles. Every course, certificate, diploma, and degree program is designed to uphold the authority of Scripture rather than conform to secular academic systems.

📘 Is King James Bible College Accredited?

A more accurate question might be: “Is our college accredited by man’s law?” The answer is no. Our accountability is first and foremost to God, as affirmed in Acts 5:29 (KJV): “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

While secular accreditation has its place, our mission is to remain faithful to God’s standards above all earthly requirements. Our programs are intentionally structured as religious education, rooted in Scripture and designed for ministry preparation and spiritual growth.

🏛️ Exploring Theological Accreditation

We recognize that accreditation can be valuable in certain ministry or academic contexts. For this reason, we are actively exploring accreditation through organizations that specialize in theological and ministry-focused education.

These accrediting bodies evaluate biblical institutions based on doctrinal integrity, academic quality, and faithfulness to Scripture — not secular standards.

It is important to note that theological accreditation falls outside the authority of the U.S. Department of Education (US‑DOE). No theological accrediting agency is recognized by the US‑DOE, because religious education is not regulated by federal oversight.

Our goal is to pursue accreditation from organizations that understand and respect the unique nature of biblical education, while maintaining our unwavering commitment to the Word of God.

🤝 Who Accepts Our Degrees?

Because King James Bible College offers religious degrees under a North Carolina religious exemption, our programs are designed for ministry, church leadership, Christian education, missions, and other forms of biblical service. Many churches, ministries, and Christian organizations recognize and accept our degrees for:

  • Pastoral ministry and assistant pastoral roles
  • Christian education and Sunday School leadership
  • Missionary work and evangelism ministries
  • Church staff and administrative positions
  • Volunteer and lay ministry roles
  • Christian counseling (non‑state‑licensed)
  • Bible teaching and discipleship ministries

Our graduates have historically been welcomed in churches and ministries that value doctrinal integrity, biblical training, and King James Bible conviction.

Important Note:

Acceptance of any degree — whether secular or religious — is always determined by the receiving institution, employer, ministry, or church. While many ministries gladly accept our degrees, each organization sets its own policies. We encourage students to check with any specific institution if they have questions about transferability or recognition.

🏫 Colleges That Accept Our Degrees Toward Higher Study

Several Christian colleges and seminaries accept religious degrees from institutions like ours for admission into higher‑level programs such as admission into advanced theological programs such as doctoral research (PhD, ThD), or other ministry‑focused graduate degrees.

Below is a list of institutions that have accepted degrees from King James Bible College for admission into higher‑level theological study. These confirmations are based on students who have successfully enrolled in advanced programs after completing their Master of Biblical Studies with us. Acceptance always remains at the discretion of the receiving institution, and this list may be updated as additional confirmations are received:

  • Trinity College of the Bible and Seminary
  • North Central Theological Seminary
  • Andersonville Theological Seminary
  • Christian Bible and Seminary
  • Christian Counseling Programs (non‑state‑licensed)
  • Independent Bible Colleges

This section will be updated as additional schools confirm acceptance of King James Bible College degrees. Because policies can change at any time, students should always verify acceptance directly with each institution.

Disclaimer:

Each college or seminary makes its own admissions decisions. While the types of institutions listed above typically accept religious degrees, final acceptance is always at the discretion of the receiving school. Students are encouraged to contact the admissions office of any institution they wish to attend.

📖 Our Foundation Remains the Word of God

Whether accredited or exempt, our mission remains unchanged: to provide high‑quality biblical education that honors the authority of Scripture and equips believers for ministry. Accreditation may support this mission, but it will never define it. The Word of God is — and will always be — our foundation.
